| Aerial photography is an art of its own. With as expensive a platform as a helicopter every minute counts. It is imperative that there is excellent communication between pilot and photographer as the wind rushing past the open doors of the chopper coupled with the rotor noise makes for an extremely distracting environment. Add to this the need to get horizontal horizons and the difficulty of the challenge is increased. I have developed an excellent rapport with everyone at St. Lucia helicopters and have garnered great experience from shooting aerial photography of the St. Lucia Game Fishing Association’s Bimini Start during many a St. Lucia Game Fishing International Billfish Tournament. As a consequence shooting any object that is more stable than a moving boat is a “walk in the park”!
